Topic: Life Under The Sea

KG1 children went on a field trip to Msasani Fish Market on 16th September 2021 to Learn about the types of sea creatures.

Children played by the seashore, felt the sunshine, and observed all the types of fishes and crustaceans using their five senses. They also learned the difference between Halal and Haram fishes, how Allah T.A has made all fishes differently and given them some type of advantage to protect itself from predators such as Octopus has black ink and lobsters have claws etc. It was a treat for us to spend some quality time together and experience the hustle and bustle of a Market. We also saw a family of chickens and collected some seashells to take home as souvenirs.

On the way, the children saw an excavator, digger, construction workers and talked about many more other topics such as Traffic lights, Traffic police and Zebra Crossings.

It was a Fun-Filled Day with lots of multisensory learning.
